A "big picture" consultation, to help guide you towards an overall look that reflects who you are and how you want to live in your space. Budget, aesthetics, lifestyle, future goals and timeline are all covered in order to create a design that enhances they way you live and feel in your space. A formal proposal outlining scope of work, estimated hours, fee structure, design phases and terms and conditions will be formulated for your review.
I can help you to imagine everything your space could be by creating your conceptual design though shared visual image ideas, detailed room measuring and scaled 2D and 3D plans. Design boards showing carefully researched and sourced fabrics, furniture, lighting, plumbing and finish materials are shared with you for discussion. Samples and images are gathered, window treatments suggested, and all key design details are meticulously considered. Communication through email/meetings/Zoom calls are super important at this stage in order to move forward to the next phase.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PROCUREMENT
I'm hot on the admin! I manage my projects with accuracy and repsonsiveness, and I produce a huge shared spreadsheet in order to manage the purchases I make for your project with estimated delivery dates. I'll be available for continual communication and site visits with contractors and trades ensuring your project runs smoothly, and that design details are implemented correctly.
This is where your dreams become reality! All construction work has been completed, furniture delivered, accessories positioned, artwork in place and your room is now "styled". A punchlist of any outstanding tasks is created and taken care of by the relevant trades to bring your new space to the finish line.
