I'm a London native who moved to the Bay Area in 2013, having qualified as an interior designer in 2002 at the Interior Design School, London. Following word of mouth recommendations, In 2016 I started my own firm in Berkeley, CA, serving the Bay Area and beyond. Prior to establishing Claire Taylor Design, I worked at Studio G+S Architects in Berkeley, and at three interior design firms in London.
My mission is to create spaces celebrating what you love and who you are. I’m passionate about making the interior design process both accessible and enjoyable. My goal is to be a specialist that my clients can rely on to create spaces that make them feel good and function well.
I take a collaborative approach and work closely with clients to craft rooms and furniture pieces that are detail-oriented and welcoming. I’m well known for my ability to connect with people and love to translate their thoughts and ideas into thoughtful design schemes that transform their houses into homes.
