Paint and Color Consultations
Choosing a paint color is not just about how pretty it looks. It's about how color responds to environmental factors like light and heat, adjacent buildings, landscaping and existing design elements, as well as our own human response to color. When we walk into a paint store, we can walk out with virtually any color and finish we want, thanks to the marvel of technology. However, while choices have multiplied, our decision-making skills have not improved! My goal is to eliminate the guesswork and streamline your options.

What to Expect
Ahead of my visit I ask for photos and a summary of your goals. I'll arrive at your property with my paint decks, analyze your environment, how you use the space, lighting, architectural details and your emotional response to color while delving into your vision. I'll recommend paint colors and finishes that enhance durability and style. Back at the studio, I'll order 8"x10" paint swatches delivered directly to your door within 2 days of our meeting, so you can move them around your space and reach a final decision. Color consultation is priced at $250 per hour, with optional add-ons available, like digitally rendered images of suggested color palettes and paint schedules detailing finishes, colors and locations, ready to hand to your contractor/painter. After our consult, enjoy a 20% discount at East Bay Paint Center (Benjamin Moore) and Farrow & Ball paints.
