An exciting new kids' maker space has landed in Berkeley!  I worked away with the founder on its new identity and branding as well as the interior space.  Firstly she needed to create a public image through color and "vibe" that would reflect the creative personality of her new business.  Once she had settled on her well-located shop space she needed to accommodate kids, their parents, staff and loads of innovative play stations and storage for supplies around science and art. The shop is long and narrow, and it was challenging to space plan, but with a new lick of paint, new waterproof "kid-friendly" flooring, flexible furniture and a fun color scheme to match her new branding, this space is now popular, thriving and inventive.
